Unfortunately, the festivities are disrupted when a villainous rat kidnaps one of the mice. During the show, a performance by the “Ratz Brothers” occurs. These performers are a reference to the Ritz Brothers, known for often incorporating "burlesque" (or what could now be described as drag) into their routines. This portrayal of the Ritz Brothers is a much more pared-down version with them only donning a bonnet compared to the full-drag costumes they often wore in their films.
