    <dcterms:description><![CDATA[<span>Retold by Charlie Craig's mother, this short documentary recounts the discriminatory incident that led to the legal case of <em>Masterpiece Cakeshop v. Colorado Civil Rights Commission</em>, in which Craig and his partner David Mullins were unable to purchase a cake at a bakery to celebrate their upcoming wedding.<br /><br />As detailed on ACLU's <a class="in-cell-link" target="_blank" href="https://www.aclu.org/cases/masterpiece-cakeshop-v-colorado-civil-rights-commission#other-documents" rel="noreferrer noopener">website</a>, in 2015, Colorado Civil Rights Commission ruled in favor of Craig and Mullins that the cakeshop was discriminating against potential clientele. A few years later in 2018, the case reached the United States Supreme Court. The majority vote reversed the Commission’s decision, ruling in favor of the bakery.</span>]]></dcterms:description>
