Hey Arnold! The Jungle Movie
Dublin Core
Title
Hey Arnold! The Jungle Movie
Description
Arnold finally has the chance to visit San Lorenzo, where he hopes to finally find and reunite with his parents.
While there were some queer coded characters in the original TV show (1996-2004), none were explicitly confirmed until a few years after the TV show finished airing. In 2016, Craig Bartlett confirmed in an interview with Buzzfeed that both Eugene and Mr. Simmons -the latter of whom is voiced by out actor Dan Butler- were gay. In Hey Arnold! Jungle Movie, Mr. Simmons' partner, Peter, briefly appears to wish him goodbye before he goes to San Lorenzo.
