Sundae in New York
Dublin Core
Title
Sundae in New York
Description
In this Academy award-winning short, Ed Koch sings about all the joys of New York, including the "queens" in Queens.
Interestingly, although rumors that Koch was gay occurred as early as the 70s, the short does not allude to his sexuality. Koch remained closeted during his lifetime and it was not until 2022 that a New York Times article containing interviews from friends officially confirmed he was gay.
